We fly all sizes of RC planes, helis, jets and quadcopters. Join our club and we can provide you with all of the help and advice you need to become a proficient model pilot. AMFC is located centrally within the country at Brideswell, Athlone within easy reach of the M6 motorway (Exit 13). AMFC encourages our members, and assists them in working towards and achieving the MACI accredited A & B certificates for RC flying skills. Our club rules mandate line of sight flying and we adhere to all Irish Aviation Authority and Model Aeronautics Council of Ireland regulations concerning the safe operation of model aircraft in Ireland.
